I have heard about this, will have to pick it up at some time. All though I'm not so great with reading books...lol!

It is not worth reading and pretty badly written. The author is full of himself and doesn't offer any radical new knowledge.

I recommend buying The Oral History of Buffy & Angel by Edward Gross and Mark A. Altman instead, despite the from today's perspective very awkward Whedon-worshipping.

Oh thank you for the heads up. I can only imagine the book (the new one) will be super PC given the fact that its, well 2022....and that seems to be the "thing" these days. Well it aint my thing! lol!

Rumor has it that there will be a reboot of this show, but it is only rumor at this point.

So now it's "super PC" to simply acknowledge the multiple accounts of Joss Whedon's abusive behavior towards certain cast members? I don't see how a new book about Buffy could possibly ignore the subject and be responsible. It's been well-documented in not only the media, but in public posts from victims. And in a recent interview with Joss Whedon himself, let's just say he doesn't come off great. Apparently people can't speak out about abuse they suffered now without being called "PC"?

Time for Vol 2! (yes I know it will never happen....stupid Disney, lol!)

Anybody think there is an opportunity for a campaign to get that score released? Write to Intrada, La La Land or other labels? Write directly to 20th? Create a petition?

There are so many random Netflix shows that get a score release. I don't see why the Buffyverse with its legions of fans wouldn't be lucrative.

LLL did start working on it and I know Robert J Kral himself was super excited to get it released. But there seemed to be a problem caused by the whole Fox/Disney merge thing. And to get the elements from Fox/Disney. The last part is not an issue anymore according to the composer. So I'm not sure what the status of it is anymore. I still have hope it will happen some day though. I'll never give up waiting! And I am still dying to get the Chris Beck cue from the finale of "I Will Remember You". Love that version of the Buffy/Angel theme!!
