Taylor Swift has been in the spotlight since she was a teenager, so it's no surprise that her romantic relationships have been with other famous people.
The singer/songwriter has often shared the ups and downs of her love life through her music, but now she's found happiness with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
She first went public with the NFL star in September and since they've barely left the headlines, with fans invested in their every move—from his dance steps at her concerts, to whether or not she'd make it back in time from Japan to see Kelce win his third Super Bowl.
The famous pair have been dating for roughly eight months, but how does that stack up against her other celebrity beaux?
Joe Jonas
Swift dated one-third of Disney's The Jonas Brothers in 2008 for only a couple of months, but him breaking up with her during a 25-second phone call would go on to inspire her second album, "Fearless."
Lucas Till
Swift met the actor when she had a cameo in Hannah Montana: The Movie in 2009, but got together when he appeared in her "You Belong With Me" music video.
Their relationship was also brief, lasting a couple of months.
Taylor Lautner
Also known as 'Taylor Squared,' Swift dated the Twilight actor at the height of his fame in 2009.
They were together for several months before splitting in December of that year, but recently reunited during a heartwarming moment. Swift brought Lautner onstage at her Eras show in Kansas City, Missouri, in July, where he cartwheeled and did backflips onstage.
The moves were a throwback to a scene they shared in the 2010 movie Valentine's Day.
Cory Monteith
Swift and the late Glee star only dated for one month, but they managed to attend a Grammys event together. Some fans think her song "Mine" is about him.
John Mayer
The then 32-year-old Mayer dated a 19-year-old Swift for a few months in 2010 after meeting when they collaborated on the song "Half of My Heart."
She later wrote a song about the musician called "Dear John," where she sings "Dear John, I see it all now, it was wrong / don't you think 19 is too young to be played by your dark twisted games."
Mayer reacted to the song in a 2012 interview with Rolling Stone.
"I will say as a songwriter that I think it's kind of cheap songwriting," he said at the time.
Jake Gyllenhaal
Following her relationship with Mayer, Swift dated the Donnie Darko actor for three months in 2010.
Despite their short-lived romance, it went on to inspire much of Swift's album Red and the song "All Too Well," which she also made a short film for and documented the timeline of their relationship.
Conor Kennedy
Swift got close to an American political dynasty when she dated Robert F. Kennedy's grandson, Connor Kennedy, for a few months in 2012.
Before ever meeting Kennedy she wrote a song about RFK and his wife Ethel Kennedy called "Starlight."
Harry Styles
One of her more high-profile relationships was with One Direction alum Harry Styles.
They were known as "Haylor," and their respective fan bases went wild for the relationship, but they only lasted three months.
Calvin Harris
Swift's friend, Girls creator Lena Dunham, described the singer's relationship with the British DJ as her "least favorite" of Swift's boyfriends.
"My least favorite was 'Calvin Harris,' because I felt he was petty in the public and who needs to do that?" Dunham said on a 2018 episode of Bravo's Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
They were first seen in public in 2015, but broke up a year later in what her friends described as a "brutal" split.
Tom Hiddleston
Who could forget Swift frolicking in the sea with her friends and Hiddleston, who was wearing the now iconic "I ❤️ T.S." white singlet.
They first met when they danced together at the Met Gala in 2016, but Swift split with the Loki actor just a few months later.
Joe Alwyn
The British actor is Swift's longest relationship to date and the pair even got engaged before splitting after six years together.
They also met at the 2016 Met Gala and began dating later that year. He would go on to co-write some songs with Swift for her albums.
"I was falling in love with someone who had a wonderfully normal, balanced life," she said in her 2020 documentary, Miss Americana.
"We decided together we wanted our relationship to be private. I was happy. But I wasn't happy in the way I was trained to be happy. It was happiness without anyone else's input. We were just happy."
Matt Healy
In between Alwyn and Kelce, Swift had a brief fling with The 1975 frontman Matt Healy.
Travis Kelce
The couple first connected after Kelce put her "on blast" in a July 26 episode of the New Heights podcast that he co-hosts with brother Jason Kelce. He spoke of trying to meet Swift at her July Eras tour show in Kansas City so he could give her his "number" but was disappointed that their paths did not cross.
Swift revealed they met up shortly afterwards because she thought "it was so metal" that he talked about her on his podcast.
While they have not revealed the exact time they started dating, she said they were already a couple when they made their public debut on September 24. Thus it was likely sometime in August given he first spoke about her in late July.
